| The role of the DC 12V connector (male–female)This set of DC connectors (male and female) is used to power CCTV surveillance cameras at standard 12V voltage. Its role is to facilitate a quick, secure and solderless connection between the power supply and the video equipment. It also allows for a cleaner wiring organization and provides flexibility in installation and maintenance. |
Connection and operation modeThe connector is equipped with screw terminals (green), where the power wires are inserted and firmly fixed: the positive (+) and negative (–) wires are clearly marked on the housing to prevent wrong connection. After fixing the wires, the male or female connector is inserted into the corresponding port of the camera or power supply. |
