Midland 38 - the advanced CB radio for those who really travel
One of the distinctive elements of Midland 38 is its large 5”
multicoloured display, which allows you to choose between 7
different shades of backlight to adapt to the aesthetics of the
dashboard or personal preferences, with adjustable brightness to
ensure maximum visibility both during the day and at night. The
12/24 Volt power supply makes it compatible with both light and
heavy vehicles, without the need for external converters.
On the communications front, the radio integrates a fully
customizable Echo system, which allows to modulate the echo
effect on the voice to improve the perceived quality during the
transmission.
There is also an advanced CTCSS and DCS encoder/decoder,
with 38 CTCSS tones and 104 DCS codes, which allow a precise
and safe ѕelection of the channels for confidential
communications, activating the Squelch only when necessary and
significantly reducing interference.
Another strength of the Midland 38 is the VOX function, which
allows you to speak in an hands-free mode: the microphone
automatically activates to the sound of the voice, eliminating the
need to press the PTT. In addition, this function is supported by an
intelligent noise reduction system, which isolates the user´s voice
from environmental sounds, guaranteeing clear transmissions
even in noisy environments.
