GEOPOINT - Personaalne GPS Tracker (asukoha jälgija)

 

WHAT IS IT?

It is a GSM/GPRS portable device particularly suitable for remote control monitoring of people, vehicles or any other moving objects.

It contains a GPS SIRF Star III receiver to get the tracker coordinates and a GSM module to transmit data.

It has three main functions:

· Tracking
· Personal safety
· Voice Calling

HOW IT WORKS

The tracker can send position data automatically or on request to:

· a mobile phone by SMS
· a PC connected to Internet in GPRS mode;
  in this case, the tracker position can be displayed in real
  time on a map
· another tracker of the same type

WHAT CAN IT DO?

Tracking: it can be used in several situations, where it is necessary to locate and track in real time people, vehicles, goods, and other moving objects.

Personal Safety: in case of an emergency, by pressing the SOS button repeated SMS messages are sent to a maximum of four preset phone numbers; the alarm messages contain all the device position details for a quick rescue.

Voice Calling: it can be used as a mobile phone to make or receive calls; the phone book can contains up to 10 preset numbers.

 

Use

A few examples of use:

 

By pressing the SOS button repeated alarm messages are sent to the preset numbers asking for help and for a quick rescue.


 

 

Sends at a preset rate to a mobile phone its own position data for remote locating and monitoring.

 

The model with display can be use as a GSM phone to call the numbers preset in the phone book or to answer all incoming calls. 

 

It can be used as a portable GPS anti-theft system for vehicles, motorcycles, machines, equipments, goods, etc. without need for electric connection.

 

 

The MyTrack software manages different maps and displays the track saved in the GEOPOINT showing data as speed, altitude, ...

Guides to a preset direction or to the tracking start point.

 

The direction and the distance to reach another GEOPOINT is shown on the display.

An acoustic alarm is emitted every time a preset speed limit has been overcome.

UPGRADE
 
The tracker is designed in such a way that it can be upgraded using a simple PC connection. This is a valuable feature because it allows to make use of any new function available after purchasing the device, or to enhance the standard configuration of the device, simply by purchasing the appropriate upgrade.
